your right maz, my mistake , should read, m2 tank or x1 cover. i need to take a mould as i cant get both sides the same when i try and make one.

I can make you moulds from an original,just done 1125 fairing lowers with an enclosed-double sided- mould.Not so easy with a tank shape but can be done.

Otherwise just have to be careful with lay up to maintain a constant thickness,really shouldn't be too much of a problem to keep a fibreglass product thinner than a plastic original.
