Hi guys.

I did a little bit of damage to my 2000 X1 exhaust headers during a low speed off a few months ago and the cost of repairs would seem to outway the likely cost of a second hand replacement part.

Anyhow, does anyone have a set of suitable original UK spec X1 headers without any damage and which are surplus to their requirements? If so, please get in touch.

Thanks,

Richard

Thanks but I have the classic dilema of not wanting to spend about 10% of the open market value of my bike just to rectify what is essentially cosmetic damage to my headers and a second hand part is likely to be my best bet methinks.

If only it was that simple. I have a bit of a flat and some scuffing on one part of the front cylinder header pipe along with some minor scuffing further down on both pipes.

Thanks Nige and Barney.

I'm pretty much resigned to putting up with the cosmetic damage to my ceramic coated headers and am going to start a new thread in the techical forums on some other matters.
