Ok, ordered up a replacement from dealer, get here next week.
£15 for mine? It's black and scratches are just in the surface from the peg hangers which I didn't secure properly when rotating the engine

Muzza,
You need one of the early style braces to fit your early style swinging arm.
They are not that easy to find without buying the whole swinging arm.
I think I might have a solution...
