Will that need to go on a 10 plate bike? I know I cant put a newer reg on my bike...only the same age or older.

Actually, no.

Its one of the more famous plates that 'slipped through the net'.

IIRC Steve Parish used to own it. (But I'm probably wrong!)

On one of the other forums I visit, there was a post from someone whose mother had the job of vetting all the plates that were issued, just to check for any 'unfortunate' combinations' of caracters, and this was one that she missed. Apparently, the family still rib her about it, which is how come he mentioned it on a website forum.

I don't go in for 'personalised plates' myself, but there are a couple that I've seen that I would want. "TUR 80" was on a 911 Turbo when I owned my Kwak 750 turbo and I really wanted that plate. Just down the road from me now is a lady with "M2 FUN" on a Merc convertible, which would look great on the rear of an appropriate Buell.

Worrying, for M2 owners, "M2 DOA" is still available for £255 :shock: :shock: But "M2 WTF" is already on the road :!: .
