No, keeping frames on my Uly.

(Picture turned upside down for some reason, opened it in photoshop and rotated it, reuploaded it, didn't turn upside down :? )

There was a new member on here a while ago who bought a uly without luggage, he said he will get it later... His profile said he hasn't been back for a few months (his last conversation scared him away I think) but he pops up on the FBUKBEG from time to time. I will let him know you have this for sale as it is hard to find.

Can I ask why you will keep the frames on your bike? Would've thought they are pointless without the boxes??

Bought some H&B Gobi panniers a couple of years ago, and put a on large rack for a drybag instead of a topbox. :yup:
Was going to keep the Journeys for if I sell the bike but am trying to get rid of stuff I keep accumulating ( also can't see me replacing the Uly, what would I get thats as good?)

Ah I see. Just had a look at the Gobis, pretty flash, they even hold water in the side wall!

Yes! and if you did replace the Uly for something as practical you'll have a bike thief target on your hands and your insurance will double (mine quadruples)

Thanks for the tip...I haven't been caught in the rain yet, been very lucky. But I will be sure to bag up my bits. Nice to know I won't get thirsty if I break down too.

Any water would drain out in the top in oz too. Postage might be a bit much.

Don't think this is helping the panniers sell.
Can't remember ever having water get in the Journeys, had a can of beer explode in my Gobis, could of done with a drain hole then, try to bin bag everything now.
