LOL lOl Hiya Spook,

Long time no speak to :ner:

No....I won't be getting a Uly ;)

Thinking Kawasaki Z1000, Honda CB1000R, Yamaha FZ1 or Triumph Speed Triple.

Going to take them all out for a test ride and then make my mind up.

Ride Safe mate

Add Tuono to that list. Should be some good deals on the Aprilia as word is it's being replaced with a V4 next year.

I test rode all of them the cbr was too much like a commuter bike fz1 was good z1000 was alright but 'kin ugly.
I bought a tuono R and love it handles really well loads of power on tap and servicing is cheap £150 minor £300-350 for major alternates every 6k miles.
The good deals spook says about are true I got a full akro system and data tool s4 for free.
All the new z1000 are being recalled at thd moment front break line rubs on break disc under breaking eventually wearing through and letting oil leak all over you break discs.

For God's sake Neil, pull yourself together ;) . Bland, bland, bland, Triumph.

Where's the Superduke on that list? 990SM? Tuono? Tuono Factory? Benelli TNT?

Don't go over to the dark side. There are enough interesting bikes not to have to get a Jap IL4.

Yamaha FZ1-N

I know I went to the dark side but to be honest I'm glad i did...She's amazing! Power and handling in abundance.

Not got the looks or the character of the Buell but enjoyable none the less.

I have clocked up 2000 miles on her already.....

Yeah, we know.
Buells are a bit like that ex-girlfriend. You know the one. The one that did absolutely anything you wanted in bed (or a doorway) and was always pleased to see ya. But you was just that little bit embarrassed to be seen in public with her, because she never said the right things. And your mates told you that it would never last and your mum didn't like her either.
So you dumped her and married the vicar's daughter.

And now you fucking regret it. ;)

Yeah, we know. lOl

May I suggest that you start trawling Ebay for your next XB. 8-)
