Regrettably, I will most likely be selling my M2. Has had a thorough frame off going over at the hands of Maz with a bill of £4600+ Itemised bill available, but here are the highlights.
New fork stanchions
New front and rear brake pads
Front and rear isolators sorted
10k service
Gearbox and engine breathers rerouted
New drive belt
New 10R12A plugs
Frame and wheels powder coated
New swinging arm bearings
New head bearings
New spondon pulley cover
Additionally , during this time a brand new AST rear shock, Mikuni HSR42 carb and, LSL gear change and rear brake pedal kit went on
There’s more but anyhow there’s a lot of money spent in all the right places. The reason for sale is that I’m struggling with large bikes following injury on the old CZ motocrosser. I know I won’t see the money back I’ve spent, however if anybody is looking for an M2 in unquestionably great shape, we should talk! That conversation is going to start at £5000. I know this is tall for an M2, but there really is no doubt as to its pedigree. I will be adding photos shortly mileage will be 11,000 plus a bit

Good luck with the sale Ian. That's the second nice tuber you're letting go. I remember bringing the frame and wheels back from triple s. It's a lovely looking bike. Someone will be a lucky recipient.

Thanks Dave, I know you’ve improved the S1W, you were a good choice of new owner! It grieves me, I’ve taken the time to make this bike as good as it can be, with a lot of excellent help from Maz! However I’ve come to accept that I’m struggling to move it about. Basically this removes the fun. It runs and rides faultlessly. It’s a bargain for anyone wanting a “comfortable” tuber. You don’t have to scratch too far to realise it’s half price!

I still have this for sale, passed it’s mot yesterday. I just don’t ride it enough. Condition wise it does need some polishing and the original paint has a few age related marks (not blistering tho!) willing to let it go now.
