Couple of weeks ago I ordered a tail lamp bracket and a sidestand for an S1.
Tail lamp bracket was back ordered as it was coming from the USA, 3-4 weeks delivery.
The sidestand was in stock at the EDC and would take 5-7 days.
When the stand didn't turn up, I decided to chase the order......
......geezer at the EDC has the stand in his hand but cant dispatch it because H-D have told him to skip it, along with the rest of the 'obsolete' Buell stock :x :headbang:

If you're reading this A.B.......why cant this 'obsolete' stock be purchased by groups such as UKBEG ??

What a fucking joke.
So much for them going to support Buells for the next ten years.
It Is a worry for future ownership and It can only make second hand values even less.

This has to be stopped. Too many European and Japanese enthusiasts need any parts that might be around! (Not even counting us crazies over across the pond!) Who needs a talking to?

Can we "borrow" the skip once they've filled it?

 This sort of thing makes me even more determined never to put another penny in the hands of HD. To them it's obsolete stock they can't be bothered to market properly by discounting it - but to us it's a kick in the teeth!

I wonder if Erik knows that this is happening ...

... you would have thought that they could have offered the parts to him to help preserve the Buell marque.

I'll bet it has to do with writing it off as bad debt.
