We're not going to make it now, took the bike out for a little warm up today and noticed the back tyre was a bit low on tread, l was told by an ex policeman that it would be illegal, on the plus side I got 10,000 miles out of it, pilot road 3 and two up for 95% of it :D
Got a new one on order for fitting Tuesday, front looks like new so will stay on unless I can't get another pr3.

UKBEG's very own 'Team Ulysses' pictured in sunny Chesterfield.

Despite the occasional hail shower the weather hasn't been too bad. The bikes are now tucked up in Harleyworld and we're looking forwards to an evening meal with Kev and Ronnie.

A brilliant day, many thanks to everyone who attended :worthy: .....

There were 20 Buells and about 35 peeps in total. It was a fitting way to celebrate UKBEG's 18th birthday in beautiful weather. Patrick and all the staff at Harleyworld did us proud and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality. The birthday cake was a nice touch and extremely tasty!

Nick (sillyb) deservedly won the Best Buell award.

UKBEG, 18 years old and still going strong :yup:...

Great turnout 8-) fantastic weather great food and cake thanks to Patrick Yates , great organising by CJ and Jane as always 8-) . We had just about every type of weather possible yesterday afternoon on our way there but Sun was out by the time we arrived.
The guys at Harleyworld made us feel right at home and allowed us and CJ to park the Ulys in their showroom overnight, they then drove us the mile back to the Hotel in what resembled a scene from the Italian job when they pulled up outside the showroom in the cars for us , instead of Minis they were in Little Fiat 500 Abarths , those things are amazing with their 190BHP in something the size of a gocart 8-) lOl There was only the 4 of us staying overnight but the Hotel was great so we just had a quite meal and Beers in the attached bar and restaurant. There was a good turnout today and I hope it's a sign of the rest of our 2016 meets 8-)
