Hi guys,

Its back in the UK! yay! and guess what, started with 11 month old fuel in it straight away and ran up to temp beautifully......, now for UK MOT.......

Headlight lense, sorted.....
Indicators.....sorted......
Rear Brake Light switch - shot...... Any ideas for a replacement?

Also is there anywhere that does UK licence plates with a reflector built in?

Thanks in advance.......

Check out. Demon Tweeks website for a Goodrich inline banjo fitting hydraulic brake light switch, I think I got mine from there.

Leave the standard one in place and put this in place of the banjo bolt...

I just get one from Halfrauds, or wherever, stick it on a bit of plastic and rivet it to the plate, as below. OK, so it's not a UK plate, and it's not a Buell or an X1, but you get my drift. I've done the same on my Enfield in the UK for the same reason you're doing it. I forgot about it until the examiner pointed it out and suggested I nip out sharpish, buy one and just stick it on the bottom of the plate, mind you the plate at the time was about 2 ft x 1 ft lOl

Easiest way of dealing with the reflector is to purchase the cheap small round ones (for pennies) and fix to the numberplate , available as bolted or self adhesive

Thanks all, also on the look for at least one (dont know why i bother with them cant see anything.....) mirror to go on the drivers side , pair would be nice, better than stock but must be cheap, until I get back to pick the originals up in Tenerife. Any idea of thread pitch and size? Recommendations?
