04 xb 12 race ECu. Homemade Reverso exhaust idles ok runs over 2000 rpm ok but between them surges and drops off a cylinder has been like this forever tried plugs ,leads, inlet seals to no avail ,are the low range fuel and timeing maps in a race ecu particularly poor??

Afv usually about 95 but as I use it for lots of short runs don't think it would reset very often, if it even sees slow traffic or lights it will run like crap and overheats ..

vaguely remember my 2006 doing that when I first bought it. IIRC the ECU needed reflashing (or something - it had to be plugged into something at the HD shop that needed internet access)
