Big improvement, well done,
not sure if the exhaust wrap is a good idea, certainly has the capacity to ruin tuber pipes
the standard seat on my 09 xt is lower than yours (recover and lower/ find used later lower seat (probably cost about the same) - options)

yea i have my eyes peeled for a stock xt seat, for now im going to re-colour the leather black as there is no cost to it and wait for a seat!

As for the wrap, i really dont like it, he reckoned the dealer told him it would give him more power! again I think it will be coming off later today............

im going to try and take a look at the oil pump gear at some point over the next few months but I am in the middle of some work on my 67 generator shovel and starting the dry build on a 75 shovel rigid chop so it may have to wait until both of those two are out of the way and off their lifts! It realistically wont see a great deal of use over the next few months as its for fun only. If Maz was a little closer or there was someone down this way id probably book it in and get it done tbh. This bike ended up being well under the budget I had for one so I dont mind spending a few quid to get it where it needs to be!

On a good note my belt tensioner turned up yesterday, again need to find the time to fit it and do a full service at the same time as I have oil filter and oil sitting here. Had a blast on it thursday night, forgotten how well these go, this thing flies!

Use one of the many bike transport companies to move it to the Emporium?
I'm sure somebody here will have someone they recommend

If Maz was a little closer to me I'd be giving him about 5k for a full blown workover lOl

Magz has two of Erik’s creations and will only let Maz work on them. We trailer them down from central Scotland :yup: Genrally we get to spend an overnight with Buell friends.

Well worth the trip for both reasons :yup:

Wow! That seat looks sumptuous. I think I have the polar opposite of that on my xb12s. But then again I have been messing with it. Looks better in all black :yup:
