Wish I could have been there. Says a lot about the man that his enthusiasm and passion appears indomitable in spite of all he's been through.

Proud to ride these awesome bikes.

Did meet lot's of nice people the whole week.
The fly by from the spit fire on saturday sounded awesome and seeing the Lancaster up close was impressive!

Was cool to meet some of you in person and seeing all the Buells.

Had a really good time at my first Ems day. Thank you CJ for all you did in the build-up and I am glad I got to meet you and Jane. I knew I would not get to meet all of you on this busy day but those of you I did meet, thanks for your warm welcome to your special annual meet.

To the Hideaway crew, what a hoot! you lovely bunch of people and dog, sweetie (she is a little sweetie alright). Julie and Malcolms place really is like steeping back in time as is the pub next door with the WW2 table etchings and other memorabilia. I'll be back, a kiwi aint never going to screw his nose up at £3 pints, £5 mains and £6 accommodation.

Extra special of course to see the great man in the flesh, didn't get to meet him (bit of stage fright  ) and didn't get my selfie, which I'll probably regret for the foreseeable... But I did get a pic with this cool Kat next door on 'Big night' #2

Great to meet up again :-) Ronnie remembered you from the cafe in Holland as soon as she saw you in your chaps :D I popped back to the aviation centre on Tuesday lunchtime in my van to pick up my sign but the gates were closed at the campsite so couldn't get in to see if you were still about 8-)

I even get recognized twice in the U.K. ,wow :D

You could have walked through the small gap next at the closed gate.
did not much that day ,only relaxing in the sun and saying good bye to Kiwi and Wobbly.

On my way back to Hull wednesday had a visit at the Petwood hotel to see the Officers Mess.
Very impressive!

It was good to meet you and Ronnie on the saturday and at Em's day!

On Monday, we didn’t realise until later in the day that Erik had been asking people to donate to Emma’s Charity when he autographed motorcycles and memorabilia. Our friends, Karen and Shabana, who were looking after T-shirt sales for us, kept a separate record of these extra donations and they amounted to £80.

One rider, who wishes to remain anonymous, didn’t have enough spare cash on him to donate when Erik autographed his Buell. He’s now made a very generous donation of £100 on Emma’s Charity webpage: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ ... ford-ukbeg

The amount raised for Emma’s Charity through Ems Day now stands at £1,955.00.

The cheque for the £1,855.00 which was raised at the event has now been posted to Papworth Hospital. A letter of acknowledgement will follow in due course.

We’ve now received the professional pictures taken by Alan Markham that record the visit of Erik Buell to Ems Day on the 29th May 2017. We’ve put all of them on our website: http://www.ukbuellgroup.co.uk/419562867 There’s a slideshow which is shareable on all platforms and you can also download or copy individual pictures.

Two of the pictures are shown below.

Mark, I'm not sure, I'll check with Alan Markham and get back to you.

Perhaps others managed to take a picture of Erik with Barney?
