This years Ems day was the best ever!
To the main man Erik Buell and his wonderful wife Tish. It's a day i will remember forever.
Just to see the emotion just get the better of Erik for a brief second while holding on to barney just made the day even more special. (Em must have gave him a squeeze)
Cannot thankyou Cj and Jane enough for a fantastic weekend!
Kevmean and Ronnie for the accomodation.
All our Buell friends for just being there.
To Erik without his vision and idea of creating a fun to ride bike. None of this would ever have happend!

I was really sad not to have been able to attend Em's Day , especially as the 'Erik experience' seemed so good for so many people. I have already read a lot of Erik encounters recountered and all said what a down to Earth, genuinely interested nice guy he is (as I hoped). I probably missed one of those 'once in a lifetime' type things this weekend, must get myself more organised in future.
Glad all seemed to have a good time and the weather gods appeared kind on the day (ignoring trip up/ down)

Just back home to Scotland and a huge thanks to all involved in making a great weekend. Definately a weekend worth the awful weather on way home.

Hopefully not be so long until I make another one

Neil

Just got home about an hour ago. Rode through some rain but not enough to get wet. Had a fantastic weekend. Huge thanks to Chris and Jane for organising it and to Leg for directing the traffic. Really enjoyed meeting some new faces and catching up with all the old ones. It was awesome Erik made it at last and I wish him all the best for whatever the future holds for him.
See you all at Deliverence.

Fantastic day/weekend for all by the looks of it. Gutted to have missed it. Things conspired against me on this one :( :sad1:
Great to see all the photos and hear of the experiences had by all. I'm sure Erik will have taken as much pleasure in seeing the enthusiasm for him and his products as you all did enjoying his and everyone else's presence. Well done all who put this together and travelled from afar to make it happen. :worthy: :worthy:

A great day and another near 500 trouble free miles on the S1. :yup:
A great atmosphere, with plenty of friendly faces to chat to. It was great also, to be riding with my son, with Beef as my wing man on FUBAR. Got soaked on the way home, but who cares. 8-) 8-)

Great to catch up with so many yesterday, it was quite sad listening to Erik explain what had happened with EBR, the - total lack of interest in ANYTHING home grown due to 39% corporation tax :!:  It appears he may well have got backing if he out sourced to S Korea/China/India etc, but rightly or wrongly he stuck to his principles and said that it would be made in America there by creating American jobs.
I looked at FUBAR in the garage tonight-fuck she is filthy     will we ever have a dry ride home from there Mojo :?:

To do this special event justice I want to sit down and produce a proper write-up including professional pictures. Hopefully I'll have everything together in the next few days.

We can confirm that the event raised £1,855.00 on the day for Emma's Charity. A cheque will be sent to Papworth Hospital in due course.

Thank you again to all who attended and helped to make the event so memorable :worthy:....

First time I have attended and I was quite moved by the gathering of bikes and people. Erik comes across as a very modest man. I'm sure the weekend was a pleasant distraction from what has gone.
A fantastic amount of money raised for charity too.

One moment which stood out - the young boy who won the ride in the Lancaster and his mum. When asked his name, she replied "Vulcan".
"Vulcan"?, says the lady escorting them, "after the bomber"?
"Oh no, Star Trek"
Poor kid

A great event to attend. It was enough for me just to shake Erik's hand, thank him for the experience and wish him all the best in whatever he does now. He came across as a genuine inspired creative guy.

Good to see most of the regular Buellers and others. I counted over 70 Buell/EBR's and more were still arriving. Thanks Chris and Jane and everyone who supported things. 8-)
