Just thinking about it and need some advice. IF I was to find a race ECM for my 2006 Ulysses what serial numbers would I be looking for? Is a race ECM from any XB12 engine comparable with my XB12X?
I would also ask the forum for advise about, Free Spirits TFI, Dynojet Powercommanders or the Remus Powerizer. Do they work? Do they improve things, especially in the mid range?
My goal is a smooth running engine, not a fire breathing 7000 RPM monster that cannot be used around town.
All real world experiences appreciated.

Dynojet Powercommanders or the Remus Powerizer don't bother
"race ecm" I think they allow for bit more rpm & tinkering with the fuel air & maps
but will not make it an un ride able fire breathing monster :hehe:

Hi, it makes a lot of difference as to what filter and exhaust you are running as to what you do with the fuel and timing maps. Have you done any breather mods? I used a race ecm with a Jardine can and it was pretty good with a K&N plus the breather mods. I then changed the exhaust for a Remus and it needed more fuel. I'm just saying what worked okay on mine. :) There are some very knowledgeable people that will be along shortly no doubt. :yup:

Tried that but really felt vulnerable not wearing pants.

Seems like there's a special filter that makes it impossible for signals to be responded to from Nourthen Iaerland :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:
