Let us know how you get on...

I was once considering putting emery between the pads and the disc and rotating the wheel with a smidgen of brake, but never got around to it. I have not had an issue since using EBC pads...

Will do Nick. Going to prop her up this weekend and spin the wheel. I've a sheet of 120...too much? Or should I get off my FA and buy a sheet of 240?

Made a difference Pash. Pulse is still there but definitely not as bad. I'm going to make a run up to Dukinfield next month. I've a ride planned before then so the bike will be fine for that. Cheers :yup:

Have you changed the pads to a different brand? Goldfren are not as good as EBC but they appear to be a different material and harder and I found they tend to take other pad deposits off the disc rather than grab on to them. Maybe just my imagination.
