We are having a party on Saturday the 29th of April 2017 at our house in Stow near Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. Post code TD1 2SR. Everyone at UKBEG is invited but it's not just a UKBEG event. There's plenty or room for camping and for motor homes etc. You're welcome to come on the Friday and stay until the Monday. The usual contribution towards breakfast would be much appreciated.
More details to follow nearer the time depending on numbers etc.

Thanks.

Thanks Norrie! What a great opportunity to ride up to somewhere extra cool, you're well off the grid, there is not even streetview in your neck of the woods  Are kilts compulsory? (You're probably sick of those comments)

It's a bank holiday weekend, which I am supposed to work...but I think I'd be silly to let this run get away from me, especially if there are a few riding up from the south *hint hint anyone*. I will be keeping an eye on this one.

You won't get invites like this on FB...I like the forum.

Thanks again Norrie for the invite, I don't eat much and I've been housetrained.

Nate

Ok not long to go now so trying to get an idea on numbers.
Basically it will be a similar set up to Deliverance/Adam's bbq . If people arrive on the Friday night we will probably have a bbq. In the Saturday night Anna is going to make a massive pot of haggis neaps and tatties. No set format as such just general drunkiness and talking shite about bikes etc. We're hoping for some live music around the bonfire so if you can play an instrument bring it with you.
Any questions please ask away. Please Remember it is up a very rough farm track however as long as you don't own a sports car you should be ok. Bikes are fine just take it steady. Worst case scenario you can leave your car down at the farm and I will come and get you.
Hope to see some of you there. If not there's always next year as we plan to make it an annual event.

Cheers.

Even though you're on the doorstep, we'll not be able to make it - we'll be on our way the Almeria.

But we'll be along for a wet or three when we get back :D

I'll look into the logistics when I'm back in the country. May try to get a few days off either side of it. :sun: :sun:

I'll probably drive up with the boys now. I'm working in Ilfracombe that week, but have to be in Basingstoke for a King King gig on the Thursday night. I'll leave early on Friday morning. I don't own any wellies (condition of my parole.. ;) or a wig, but I'll turn up anyway. :yup:
