I was going to order a new clutch cable today as mine has a split in the rubber bellows. A genuine cable is £58, which was a little steep, I thought.
Does anyone know of a good alternative?

Good idea. I'll just look for a new bellows online. The cable looks fine, but I can assess it properly when I take it off to change the bellows.
I'm not thinking too clearly today, this cold isn't helping!

Just had a look, I've got a decent one on an old frayed cable, if you can't find one I can post it to you, as long as you're not in a rush lOl

I'm sure someone in the UK will have one. We all do it, get a new cable because the nipple is about to drop off, but keep the old one because one day we'll get around to repairing it. I think I've had mine for about 7 years :oooops:

Hi Bonzo,
That's very kind of you, I'm sure I can find something here in the UK. I will give you a shout if I can't. Does anyone know if a decent pattern cable is available? Just in case I choose that option?

There are actually a few manufacturers of bellows in the UK, so I'll get my split one off and send it to one of them and see if they have something suitable.
