Why does it feel like you are laughing at me, rather than with me?

I'm afraid I have missed both the joke and the point here.

Nobody is laughing at you. Maz is a 'take it or leave it' blunt speaking northerner. He is an extremely helpful guy and would help you loads, honest! If the bike you are interested in is near Manchester then it would benefit you to go see it after speaking to Maz then you will know what to check and questions to ask etc.

Erm, maybe I'm being thick but where is the bit where people are laughing at you?

Oh, Northerners! I've been living with mine for 14 years now and I still don't get it all the time!

I will make the effort to get down to his shop ASAP.

Laughing at me was a turn of phrase. I meant I'm not in on the joke. Like I don't understand the bit about the X1 with PM wheels.

Ah right... Maz's top tip, as always, will be a 2001 X1. The only Buell with no recalls. But he hates PM (spun aluminium) wheels.
