To be fair, the bike isn't cutting out at the moment, so difficult to say. :yup:

No worries but in the next couple of months I know I'm gonna be plagued with all the usual start of season issues, one of which is always XB neutral switches.
Very common problem as they dont like to be left unused for long periods.......some simply dont work at all, whilst others are intermittent or develop high resistance and although they can sometimes just illuminate the lamp they cant pull the relays in properly.
If it is the neutral switch, you will have the additional problem of replacing it, as front drive pulley removal is required :)

Ok.......I have trawled through all 688 pages of the manual, used the search engine to find out how to disable the sidestand sensor, and the only pages a sidestand sensor appears on is the wiring loom plans.

I have also searched in the tech forum and 'how to' section and found nothing.

I haven't a f*cking clue what I am doing and am getting totally pissed off.

Can someone tell me if my bike will be able to get through an MOT tomorrow if my bike cuts out every time the sidestand is put down, cos it's booked in and I need it to pass. :sad1:

Pissed off from Portsmouth. :headbang:

Just to update on yesterday's findings, the bike starts fine, when clutch released it runs as long as sidestand up. Bike can be ridden but as soon as sidestand used the bike stalls.

Disconnect the clutch switch and short the wires together.
