Hi. When Im starting first meter or so I got knock like engaging a gear maybe a little bit louder but sounds like this. Bike fills like somewhere is plenty of loos! I need to exclude drive chain. The other day I tight chain so tight that bearings start to whistling and knock and loos was still present. What I think is I got gear box problem. Maybe one of this four teeth missing. Any one got a clue? I don't want to open a gear box just for check! Any other things what can be loos in drive/transmission?

95% of Buells suffer from this.......there's 2 solutions, one of which is very expensive :)

As Maz says, striking dogs are worn on the first gear. My X1 does it.

Pash Maz I don't know what you talking about. I don't like idea my bike can fail at any time. Bought this coz I thought gonna be bullet proof bike. Think this is great bike but Im getting disappointed. What is that expensive way? I put so much money to this bike is not gonna hurt me any more. Can you guys post a picture or link that i can see that part what failed. From there I should be ok. :askmaz:

Thanks for help. :headbang: doing this often mostly coz a bike :rotfl:
Phi gears bearings. You sure I though I need to change a first gear or whole gearbox. Thing is bearing noise is mote like a constant grinding or knocking and when I start is just one single knock and thats it bike fills great. I was changed bearings in back wheel month ago and clutch pressing plate bearing noise is nothing like was in this two. I just can't believe thats bearings.
