Now I know this will not be popular, but it is the spirit of UKBEG that has kept this individuals life choices alive to a certain degree in the UK....And as for permission and all that old shite, then it just sounds subservient to me, perhaps I am wrong, but for me it is how it feels and I go with the gut these days, it is usually right :yup:

fuk subservient......bob on att

William, I've checked and pink isn't available, sorry :(....

Despite yesterday's 'hiccup' we're off and running with orders. Thanks to everyone who's responded so far.

It's not a UKBEG T-shirt, it's an EBR T-shirt... :(

It is the UKBEG members (especially CJ and Jane, Gunter and Nick, to mention just a few) that have raised funds for Cystic Fibrosis in memory of Emma Redford...a shame there is no mention of this. :(

To clarify again; and for the final time :D …….

Jane and I designed it, so (to us) it’s a UKBEG product. If we had considered it important to put UKBEG on it, we would have done so. Others may disagree and they’re free to do so.

Other than granting permission to use a copyrighted logo, EBR had no say in its design. We chose to use the EBR logo. We had test items made before we offered the products and we think they look stunning. We’re very happy with the results. Others may disagree and they’re free to do so.

We’ve already received orders for our product so it proves others like it and appreciate our thinking behind the design.

Given the strength of feeling from some people about our design we hope someone does produce an alternative Em’s Day 2017 shirt. If it looks good, we’ll certainly buy some.

This test item uses a low resolution version of the EBR logo. Product for sale will have a pin sharp high resolution version of the logo.

I'm with Att on this, but understand where CJ and Jane are coming from. For me this is about UKBEG and Papworth, not Erik - nice that he's gracing us with his presence but it's a nice to have not a need to have.

I have plenty of EBR stuff but nowhere enough UKBEG stuff. I for (another) one would have liked UKBEG to have the prominent position on the shirt with EBR as an also ran. Just my opinion and in the spirit of openness :D

I hesitate to write this, but we've been thinking...

If no one comes up with an alternative 'UKBEG' design perhaps we could design something and then offer both versions. We might as well get pilloried for two designs rather than just one :D...

I guess the main point is that the charity get the dosh, I think that should always be the main driver.

I'm not bothered about Erik signing my shirt (assuming we make it) so other colours would be good too :yup:

Thanks CJ (and Jane) nice compromise to keep us rabble happy :D

OK, we'll design a black UKBEG T-shirt to offer alongside our original design. Black seems popular with most folk.

Give us a week or so and we'll have some details to show.
