They where longtime members from the Dutch buell forum and probably can help you with info about the conversion of the firebolt from the one armed firebolt guy!

To the rest of u thank you for the positive comments and offered support ...I lost my arm years ago on a bike and it's never held me back ...I still do what I want to do, there is generally a solution if u want it bad enough ))

TBH the Manual clutch would of been fine I just went for the EMF because it's one less thing to think about when riding ...I need to maybe invest some more time trying to sort out the lever clutch to work as emf says it should do ...although the same guys said no mods would be needed to the primary case but I had to have a spacer made up after the clutch endplate tried to eat my cases ((. Is a later say 2007 xb12 a stronger bike ?

Out of all the Buells the 1125 is best suited to clutchless gearchanges , on bumpy roads they are very lively though and take some hanging on to with two arms :D

But how are you going to get it in gear then at a stand still and not falling over?

This brings to mind a book I read about one of the blokes off an oil rig that rode a bike around Australia on bio fuel. They built it up from a CVT gearbox and a diesel water pump engine. It's called " Is that bike diesel mate" by Paul Carter. Quite an interesting read if your into hybrids and major alterations. And as said previously, all hands on deck to keep the old boy on two wheels i recon. Box issues could be high on the list of priorities, but there are some clever people on here, and some clever people will come up with the way around it. A trap door box model may be easier though if it decides power over motion won't go. There are some auto boxes that are used on our pump drives but I would think they don't go down small enough, but I will have a look. All the best though :yup: Tadpole

There are a few sets of trapdoor XB cases for sale in the states at the moment , they wanted silly money for postage though. They also needed some of the other machining work finishing.
