XB owners who have ventured out these last few months might wish to have a look under their old factory 'steel' mufflers before next week. Although it was a mild winter, highway maintenance depts were generously salting the roads while most of us slept with the result that my muffler was a disaster area when l looked, despite of a total respray last October!

Not going to make this one sadly. We will be camping at Peterborough for the MCN Festival (who nicked the venue from BMF) that weekend. Going in car so can use bigger tent and have room for more bargain purchases...lol

It was a EU directive to salt roads in England last winter to keep us safe. Very clever these chaps

After much stress, angst and money the XBS is ready. The weather looks like it's gonna stay fair but cool so i'll be in attendance. Come on 9/12 S owners lets see if we can get the highest attended model specific buell meeting. :yup:

We'll be at the NMM for 11.00am as planned.

Although cooler than of late it's a good forecast for Sunday so it'll be interesting to see how many XB9S/XB12S Lightning models turn up.

I'll bring a spare set of almost new Nissin XB rear brake pads with me if anyone wants them. Free to a good home.
