Thanks for the continuing feedback peeps; it's a great help.

Everything’s all set for this coming weekend’s festivities but there are a few extra bits and bobs regarding Sunday’s main event.......

Harleyworld have had a birthday cake especially made for us; make sure you leave some room for a slice :eat:.....

We’ve spared every expense and bought a small, but perfectly formed, engraved trophy which will be awarded to the owner of the best Buell motorcycle at the event. The trophy is 140mm tall so it’s a two-wheel friendly size for the lucky winner to take home with him/her.

We’ve dusted off the infamous ‘UKBEG Weather Machine’** and twiddled some knobs and pulled a few levers. As things stand at the moment I’ve got Sunday’s weather sorted, most places look to be dry with sunny spells but perhaps a bit chilly.

I just need to work on Saturday's weather, there may be some showers kicking about :( . ....

** Designed and built by Buell in East Troy, circa 1997.

Nick, see below, we’ll be there around 4.00pm. There's nothing else taking place tomorrow.

Saturday 16th April: Evening Meal In Chesterfield.

Motorcycles can be left securely overnight in Harleyworld’s dealership and Patrick will ferry people to nearby hotels. If you wish to take advantage of this arrangement you must be at Harleyworld no later than 4.45pm on Saturday afternoon.

We need to have some idea of the numbers interested in this evening meal so we’d appreciate some feedback, thank you.

Recommended hotels near Harleyworld:
Premier Inn Chesterfield North: here
Casa Hotel Chesterfield: here

Sunday 17th April: UKBEG 18th Birthday Brunch & Peak District Ride-Out.

Informal gathering of Buell motorcycles at Harleyworld from 10.30am onwards. All makes of motorcycle are welcome to attend the event.

Free food and drink will be available.

Discount cards will be given to UKBEG members who may wish to purchase or order any Buell parts, oils, filters and spark plugs etc. during the day.

At approx. 1.30pm there will be a ride-out from Harleyworld through the Peak District to the Knockerdown Inn, near Carsington Water for coffee and tea etc.

The ride-out will return to Harleyworld at approx. 3.30pm.

Kev, see you later. Hopefully we'll miss the worst of the showers this afternoon.
