Was really hoping to be at this event but don't think it is going to happen. Have been very poorly this last week and still have a dreadful cough and no energy. I definitely won't be there on my bike but may get there in the car...we will see. Anyway, have fun. Xx

Kev, see you later :worthy:...

We're not expecting many at today's meet but if you do decide to venture out to Bovington on two-wheels have a safe ride.

It won't be a Buell meet without a drop of rain. I blame FUBAR.

A bit late to let you know but no going to be there after all today. Have a hacking cough and it would be impossible to ride my bike like that.

See you soon.

Maybe due to the clocks changing, I woke up too late. Had a stiff neck as well so didn't feel up to it. Respect to all who did. ;)

I met some serious soggy on the way home, twixt Winterborne Kingston and Blandford.

My super Richa one piece (10 minutes to get into ) suit is a bag of shite

Mind, even my hitherto faultless Sidi B2's leaked a tad.

Still loads better than doing the washing up :hehe:

Great to see all today.I was surprised at how big the museum was, I'll visit it again and look around properly. Day turned out nice in the end and dry run home for me.
The Tooting Popular Front weren't allowed free rein to take over.
Good luck with your journey back up North Chris and Jane, you should have storm Kate blowing you back :old: .

Current ride: FUBAR...Enough said!
Location: Reading
Glad I got FUBAR MOT'd yesterday, massive thanks to Mojo who lent me his battery so that I could ride to test centre as it was an early test!
Today was my first proper ride on her since 2011 when I was in Canada and went for a play in the Rockies! Great to be aboard again though riding the Multistrada for the last 3 years really highlights just how archaic (read outrageous fun and nimble at healthier speeds) still didn't get fully used to her again even after a spin from Bovvy to the New Forset to meet up with my lil lady & her boys.
Just to remind me of what Buell ownership is all about........the LH footpeg snapped off 2 miles from home which put paid to me enjoying a couple of laps of my favourite roundabout!
Just gave her a damn good wash, will polish her tomorrow.
I'll have to drop the foot peg off with a bloody fine engineer I know to extract the broken bolt! ;)
Good to see those who made it :yup:

Five Buells, one Yamaha and one Guzzi. Not the biggest UKBEG meet we've held but under the circumstances we were rather pleased. Thanks to all who made it, we do appreciate the effort :worthy: ...

Our cross country route this morning from Wincanton to Bovington was challenging to say the least. It would have been spectacular in mid summer with lots of quiet roads and picturesque villages but after lots of rain, farm muck and standing water our bikes looked a complete mess. In hindsight we should have stuck to the main roads and added another 30 or so miles to the journey.

After the leaving the museum, which is well worth a visit, we went for a tour round the coast in glorious sunshine. Jane attacked the bikes with a jet wash at a petrol stop and then we headed back up to Wincanton using main roads through Dorchester and Yeovil.

If the weather forecast is correct the worst of the storm should blow through while we're tucked up in bed. Hopefully the ride back oop norf tomorrow shouldn't be too bad.

Maybe we can organise another meet up there a little later in the year. It's a great place to visit. :yup:
In bed already trying to get rid of this awful cough and cold. Been ill for more than a week now and already thoroughly pissed off with it. I don't do 'ill'....
