Just saying hello and hoping for a few pointers. I have bought a machine to use in hill climbs and sprints witch has a Buell xb 9 motor in it. 984cc I'm told, the frame is made by a company in u.s.a. Called Framecrafters. Although I have been hill climbing a few years now this is my first attempt on a v twin. Although I am still fettling it to pass scruteneering its about ready for this season. It has a Mukuni carb and runs total loss ignition, although not road registered I had a little try down our quiet street and it seems to have a great deal of torque ( frightened me anyway) so looking forward to competing on it.

Hiya starjaba and welcome to the mad house :rotfl:

Nice looking bike, the old V twins have bags of torque so should be great on a hill climb
