UKBEG 18th Birthday, Peak District, Saturday/Sunday 16th/17th April.

Together with Patrick Yates, General Manager of Harleyworld, Chesterfield, we’ve organised this event in the Peak District to celebrate UKBEG’s 18th Birthday.

Patrick was one of the very first members of UKBEG in April 1998.

These are the main details for the weekend. Further announcements will be made in due course.

Saturday 16th April: Evening Meal In Chesterfield.

Motorcycles can be left securely overnight in Harleyworld’s dealership and Patrick will ferry people to nearby hotels. If you wish to take advantage of this arrangement you must be at Harleyworld no later than 4.45pm on Saturday afternoon.

We need to have some idea of the numbers interested in this evening meal so we’d appreciate some feedback, thank you.

Sunday 17th April: UKBEG 18th Birthday Brunch & Peak District Ride-Out.

Informal gathering of Buell motorcycles at Harleyworld from 10.30am onwards. All makes of motorcycle are welcome to attend the event.

Free food and drink will be available.

Discount cards will be given to UKBEG members who may wish to purchase or order any Buell parts, oils, filters and spark plugs etc. during the day.

At approx. 1.30pm there will be a ride-out from Harleyworld through the Peak District to the Knockerdown Inn, near Carsington Water for coffee and tea etc.

The ride-out will return to Harleyworld at approx. 3.30pm.

I'm planning to be there too. Paddy and I were the only non-H-D Buell dealers when they were first launched in the UK in 1997. Paddy was at Carnell's multi-franchise dealership in Birmingham and I was at Wheels International's Triumph showroom in Stockwell, London SW9. My membership number was 1066 lOl

Should be ok for this one Chris.. Nice part of the world..There use to be quite a few tax cameras on route from me so i will be on my guard. . :shock: Ive pedalled some old railway lines before, very nice....Should be up sunday,, my lady doesnt do bikes so no sleep over for me.. :sun:
