Great turn out CJ. Can you remind us of the stats from previous years?

In the 'good old days' we used to average 60/70 Buells at Em's Day with the record being 105. Given that quite a few people no longer own Buells, I guess today's figure isn't too bad.

The great thing about today's event was the varied selection of motorcycles present. It was great to see and hear so many 'sporting' V twins, mostly British, American and Italian. That's what helps to give Em's Day such a unique flavour.

One things for certain, we'll keep on doing Em's Day :yup: ......

The other thing as well CJ is that a lot of us have multiple Buells now so can only bring one each :D also there were a few Buell owners there that for one reason or another didn't bring any with them, add in the away on holidays and laid up lazing in hospital ;) and we would have soon been back up to 60. Such a shame that Buell closed because numbers reached the max the year the plug was pulled on them and a lot have now gone to Germany.

We realise a Bank Holiday Monday isn't convenient for everyone but holding Em's Day when the LAHC has flying displays etc. does help to boost overall attendance.

We're sure that continuing to hold Em's Day on a normal Saturday, when nothing else is taking place, would result in the event slowly withering away.

Thanks Chris and Jane, a most enjoyable day.

......and Tigs....... I can't vouch for the flavour but the S2 smells of strawberries after a good wax.

I had a great day, it was really good to catch up with old faces and meet new, even if some of those were stricken on the road up. Warning to all, some diesel pumps are green ffs. Had a spirited ride with Martin on his X1 and an S1 from the layby to the event, a hyabusa couldnt stay with us, hilarious.
My helmet snapped on the way home, broken visor mechanism, thank you to Bobby Buell for loaning me sunglasses for the last seventy miles. I will stick them in the post mate. I couldn't see below seventy so interesting.
A great day, and long may it continue.

I didn't get round to taking any pictures of the bikes lined up, just these first thing before everyone arrived....

Jane :4roz: and Victor :4roz: ready to receive guests and one of our rare EBR banners, which we gave to Maz after the event.

Thanks again to Chris and Jayne for organising the event. Unfortunately couldn't ride the Uly down this year as me and the wifey brought the father in law and the two doggies down. Despite my best efforts I just couldn't fit them all on the bike.
It was worth it however just to see the old fella's face when they cranked the merlins over in the Lanc. Being ex RAF he was in his element.

Thanks again to those who organised and assisted.

Thanks for the response everyone, we've also received good feedback from the Italian motorcycle clubs.

Em's Day 2016 will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May.

We've received confirmation from Papworth Hospital that they've cashed our cheque for £366.00, the amount raised at Em's Day 2015. This money has been added to the 'raised offline' total on Em's web page: https://www.justgiving.com/emma-radford-ukbeg/

The total raised by UKBEG for Em's Charity is now £56,973.92 + £504.00 Gift Aid = £57,477.92 :P......
