I'd have a Thruxton, but it would need a lot more horsepower to keep me entertained.

My manifolds turned up and I couldn't help but give them the treatment.

The crankshaft is at Basset Down for balancing, so I'm machining the left hand case to accept my seal holder at present.

A few have asked for an update on the Alfa so I thought I better had.
Its back at home and in the garage now.

Mostly the engine, electrics, braking system and steering are in place now, just the cooling system and some finishing off in there to do now.

This bit is like my worst nightmare, I hate wiring but its made worse by the fact that mine is amongst the rarest models and I can't actually get a proper model specific wiring diagram :x

It is, dual circuit and not that unusual in the 70's I believe.

I made an oil seal holder for the drive side case, to enable me to run a Bob Newby Racing belt driven clutch.

I didn't need to mate, with the feed in tarriff and the saving in electric, which is well over half the useage, it will just pay for itself.

Give you an idea, 20 years of FIT which is guaranteed as long as the building is standing and the savings over the same period equals £290K, it was a bit of a no brainer.
