I think they may have been banking on something else

There were moves to get any non-oem part to require an SVA amendment in documentation. I've heard that this was an initiative (lobby) from manufacturers. Nobody has named names - but who has a HUGE catalogue of bolt on goodies - esp chrome.

Spain has refused to impose it as it would cause massive job loss. France does not even have an MoT for bikes. I'd rather give Taiwan my money than HD. There - I've said it.

Sounds like H.D. should be more worried about another Tsunami than their shareholders...

I just looked up the price of a rear axle for my CR - Jersey HD price £65 -

http://www.jerseyh-d.com/products/296328-axle-rear.aspx

Erik Buell is selling it for $35, that's less than £22 -

http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/mo ... -axle.html

Lets hope that we do get a UK EBR dealer !

More evidence that HD are milking their customers ...

Guys I haven't been on for a while, mainly due to a surprise delivery in 2014, discovered during a ct scan 16 weeks before launch, now three he keeps me very busy, back on topic Harley are pulling the plug, I needed a rear brake disk for my 09 xb12ss, tried the stealer last week, told they are obsolete, the bike is only eight years old, I'm going to order an EBC disk and pads today, bit gutted really, it has made me make the sad decision to sell the beast, less than 90 miles last year :(
