Once again after washing the 1125 I had a left hand indicator flashing which would not turn off, quite annoying really as I wanted to take a spin to air it off before it froze overnight :headbang:

I could say with some confidence that the ingress must have been in the indicator switch as spraying WD in there and nowhere else had the desired effect.

Plastic bag next time

Bucket and soapy sponge Kev and just my thoughts bar switch as opposed to ignition switch.

ACF50 is excellent for spraying in switches connectors etc to keep out moisture and a great corrosion inhibitor as well ............once dry take the switch housing off the bars and give a liberal spray inside ;)

Have 1125's been fitted with infamous 1980 CEV "liquorice all sort" switchgear then?.

Ah no hang on - WD40 helps little when those go wonky. You replace them.
