I haven't been on here since before the forum moved (my bad, I use a macintosh all day at work and can't bring myself to look at a computer when I'm at home) and had to re-register, but I see people are still laying into the bolt so it's as if I've never been away.
Recently hurt my back, seems to be a theme, and while it's hopefully going to get better, it's taking it's sweet time, and contorting myself onto my bolt isn't the best thing in the world, though I have to say to the naysayers, it's normally a comfy bike (no, I'm not 3'6" either).
I was thinking about bar risers or a conversion, but you know, looking at this thread I don't think I'm going to. One of the reasons I got the bolt over anything else was the ride, the stance, the whole bolt pilot experience, and looking at the conversions, while they probably work for some people, I think they will change the character of the bike so much I might as well change the bike entirely. There's no way I'd get the same feeling out of it with those mutha's attached.
Thanks for posting the pics. Good job if it helps you, but you've saved me from ruining a perfectly good (Or bad, depending on which camp you're in) Firebolt. Only question is, what am I going to do now?
Give up and swap it for a Sporty?
