:o Doing his national service in Egypt - I think! Knowing him it was nicked from the Brighton Corpy Transport Depot. Half the stuff in my inherited tool collection has obviously come from there or has the arrow on it from his REME TA days!

As I just came across an article in one of my PC magazines (http://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Ideen-ma ... 69277.html): did you try one of those "3D-printing" companies?

Might perhaps be an option for small plastic parts (starter/horn buttons), although I have no idea how stable their parts are.

just did same with car (old pug 106 diesel ) throttle cable snapped pattern replacement just short of 40 quid :o local push bike shop a pair of cables 4 quid :yup: so got a spare :D
at time just need to think outside the box rather than be a sheep and follow the crowd

My work pug's done 150,000 on the same clutch cable, think they're about sixty or seventy quidish for a new one. keep thinking I ought to get a spare
