Yep - mines taken a bloody age to get sorted. It's now spending a Christmas in their workshop. 8 weeks after it went in. Fair enough it had lots of oem parts to replace.

Whatever out thoughts on the matter the stark reality is that for 14 months we have owned obsolete bikes. History has a message here as it is usually possible to get parts for virtually every bike made. It wont be easy and probably not cheap but it is possible.

Enjoy them while we can. They are machines.. thats all. :couch:

Very true. Notice how when they do come up for sale many are one owner machines.

You miss the point. Yes we all love our favourite bikes but they are pieces of man made metal which can always be remade if we have the desire and the money.

They let me go to Tanworth :shock: Only once though....And I went to Redditch and Worcester once.....But only once....I see a pattern developing here....

What the Hell....!!! I'm taking the V-Twin out of my XB9 and replacing it with a Scalextric engine, I have plenty of those in the attic.....Sure everything is goin' electric anyhow..... :coat:

And before you XB Synic's start with your witty comments 'NO !! the XB9 engine BHP isnt the same as the Scalextric engine... :ner:

Yeah a Scalextric engine has got more power and Is more reliable. lOl
