No way...

The Uly experts will know that amongst the changes from 06 to 07, were a change from linear rated springs to non-linear (progressive)... so they are just Buell bits (J0113.2AK).

Quote:
2006 Ulysses:
Single Rate fork spring 39 lbs / in

2007 Ulysses:
Triple Rate fork spring 39 lbs / inch up to 3 inches of travel
59 lbs / inch from 3 inches to 5.4 inches of travel
84 lbs / inch from 5.4 inches to 6.5 (bottomed)

Wheeling it around the garage you really can feel the difference... 8-)

Where did you get that info?
Be interested to see how the suspension in my STT differs from the other XBs

*edit* oh yeah, what did my bike get for Christmas?

Tuono mirrors (much better)
White rim tape (not sure, may come off)
Lots of ACF50
Rizoma tail tidy (much nicer than the stock one)
Cut down bar for my axle sliders (now too short - need more threaded bar lol)
Sprayed over some corrosion on the regulator with a some VHT paint since it was looking scabby. Dunno how long that will last.

Still need to pick up some new indicators (the old ones are so corroded I don't think they'll come out of the old cheesegrater) and I am still hunting for the other half to my white chin fairing.

The 07 one, cos as you know the 06 and 07 oil levels are different.

Think you'll find you still have too little air gap  ie. with the new spring fitted, what was the oil level

192mm for 2007 - I think 2006 was 113mm.

Erik and the Elves recommended 172mm in a Badweb post in 2006, but this could have been a typo.

I'll have to see how it behaves...

What would your recommendation have been :santamaz: ?
