This is one of those occasions when I will either get shot down in flames for what has been done to this bike or some of you might actually like it !

The background is that one of our staff, Martyn Allenet, bought an XB9S about 5 years ago - loved the performance/handling but there was something just not quite right with the riding position and it gave him real neck/back problems which meant he simply could not ride it.

So about 3 years ago he decided to change the bike a little - and this is the end result

Now if any of you have shopped online with us at Jersey H-D and have been in touch either by phone or e-mail you will probably have spoken to Martyn – in the day he helps out with parts queries and in the workshop but his idea of fun is to sit at home in his shed and build things like this Buell.

After a build lasting 3 years he has now entered the bike in Britains Got Biking Talent – a competition run in association with Motorcycle News and Carole Nash Insurance – which aims to find Britains best modified bikes and have them on display at the NEC Bike show in November before deciding the overall winner.

Martyn’s bike has made it into the top 10 in the Custom bike category and we would like to ask if you could support his entry by voting for him ! You can vote here http://www.britainsgotbikingtalent.co.u ... .php?cat=2

Many thanks for your support !

Good on him. If he is in the top 10 then he will definitely be at the NEC???

Top 2 in each of the six categories make it to the NEC - also feature in the Carole Nash 2011 calendar

Hedge trimmed and tidy, shed creosoted, drive weed free.

I am struggling to keep my dinner down though.

Bet it doesn't go round corners as well now either!

I'd like to see a street registerable Buell 1190R at the N.E.C this year. ;)

Pebble, are you for real? If this is a Troll post, please be more imaginative than posting up a picture of a POS and calling it a Buell

Poor effort 2/10

To be fair Adam this not really at "Troll post" standard for this forum, if the hedge was a mess, the shed needed a lick of creosote and the the drive needed weeding it would've had loads of responses!
