On an X1 should the low fuel warning light illuminate when the igntion is turned on if there is plenty of fuel in the tank? Or does it only illuminate when there are '0.4 gallons of gasoline in the tank'?

How far, roughly, will a tankful of fuel take you?

Light only illuminates when on low fuel.........150miles is easily achievable on a tankful ;) tend to find on average i use around a litre for every 10 miles during normal running about.

I know. I haven't put any of my pictires onto a net based storage site and so I cannot post them here. At least that's how I read the 'How to post pictures' instructions for the last board. I haven't checked to see if they have changed for the new site.

Suffice to say the X1 is now balaced precariously on axle stands adn the wheels are getting new tyres tomorrow. Getting the front calliper off was a bit of a bugger. I hope it goes back together alright!
