anyone got any recommendations for a suitable gasket / sealant to use when joining crankcase halves ? e.g. hylomar universal blue

I've never split the cases on an Evo type motor, the original sealer (that gets squidged out by the factory using too much and not peeling it off after assembly :roll: ) appears to be a Silicone based product - unlike Hylomar.

yambond/kawabond/suzukibond. all available from any jap dealer.it,s wat the factorys use and i have found it the best by a mile..
