That chain has failed due to incorrect/zero servicing and was almost certainly responsible for your accident.

so where do i stand do i keep my mouth shut and hope they total the bike on the cosmetic damage alone or do i take west coast harley to court asa they did the 10000 mile service and were in the primary last august when the gasket went and obviously checked bugger all when they were in their .

i have covered the grand amount of 500ish miles since they were in their

BUK should be grateful you're around to talk to them about the outcome of the failure. :shock: Getting a solicitor such as White Dalton involved might be a good move.

Oh, and I'd be failing in my duty if I didn't mention it.... use the time away from the bike to tidy the garden up a bit, Chris Image

asuming the gearbox is ok will the pistons and valves be ok as im happy to fix the bike myself if the insurance wont touch it but is the hole lump gonna be fecked

This is a perfect (if very sad) illustration of why, even if you live next door to the dealer, that you should either ride or trailer the thing to Maz from Scotland.

well the insurance company have been called and all the race parts are off and the stock parts are back on im keeping all the fun stuff for the next x1 i get and their will be another oh yes
