i'm fitting spoked wheels ,using a Harley front hub,and the initial measurements look like the speedo drive might not fit, they are lookling at either getting a thinner bearing so the drive bit can recess into the hub then trimming the hub to make room, they haven't fully sorted it out but they asked if the drive can be re-routed to make the job simple, can it be done?I think i read that the crankcases are different, but i cant remember.

if you did manage to fit a standard mechanical drive to the pully, the chances are the speedo would wildly misread as i should imagine the pully spins much faster than the wheel!... :?

I'm putting it together,in as much as deciding what needs to be done, finding someone then getting them to sort it as i have no machining skills or workshop available,so i've been driving around taking the bike to wherever etc, etc.but i've been sourcing bits on e-bay,going round bike shops looking at parts that i can adapt.
