i've been doing this retro project as you may remember,it's running a std carb, but the pipe is quite straight through,it's had a forcewinder on it and it's felt fine on the carburation, although the end of the silencer is quite black,i've fitted a different air filter now,it about 6" round and is like a dish shape of silver gause (bit like a collander)with a foam filter, purely for asthetic reasons,it's listed as a fitment for the buell,i think it may be too restrictive,as when it gets to about 95 mph in top gear it starts to feel like it's struggling, could it be the carb be rejetted to help it carbutrate better?or any other suggestions,to do with the carburation,i'd prefer not to refit the forcewinder as it's out of keeping nowThanks in advance, craig
