Hi All, after some more help if possible, cable came off pash, downloaded ecm spy connected and comes up with code 13 O2 senors lean,
warm bike up little throttle 2000 rpm definite splutter and light comes on, reset tps as you tube video cleared codes and same again.
New plugs and leads, fluids and air filter, same problems on old plugs and leads, any ideas on where to look, I’m thinking intake seals ?
I’m no expert but I know there’s a few good one on here,
any help much appreciated
Thanks barney

Thanks for the reply,
I have not reset anything else yet as I am new to it and don’t want to f**k anything up.
I’m hoping someone will be able to tell how to check anything else, I am looking on google and you tube.
I haven’t the time to go see maz, what with new job and elderly Parents, finding time to ride it is hard enough
Thanks barney

.

Tested O2 sensor, warmed bike up disconnected it and watched voltage drop as it cooled, ordered a fuel pressure tester so that’s next test, starts and ticks over fine then spluttering at around 2000rpm when warm, still says o2 sensor always lean but smells of petrol in garage (door open)
any other suggestions gratefully received, will update when other tests complete

Thanks for looking
barney

The smell of petrol is probably the rollover ball valve in the tank vent. It's open when the bike is on the side stand & if it's warm, it's venting.

old school ,sounds like the choke is stuck on ,hence ok when cold , but when warm spluttering , if o2 sensor faulty, sending wrong signal "always lean" the ECU will try to richen mixture,AFV 110%
( smell of petrol in garage  ).

Thanks for reply, done some tests This evening following the flow charting the workshop manual, on The o2 sensor and checks out Ok so now looking at fuel pressure, hopefully gauge will be here Tomorrow, will post my findings on here,
Thanks barney

Need a little advice if possible, my fuel pressure seems a little low, still waiting for pressure kit but on another gauge shows just under 35psi,ebay sells quantum pumps stating +/-39psi but the workshop says 49psi, will the quantum pump work or where’s the best place to buy a pump that does what it needs to do please ?
Thanks barney

If the workshop says 49psi ,and if that figure is correct , then the bike needs it .
anything less and it will not deliver the correct quantity of fuel , a lean mixture .
next is it the pump or pipe work , filters O rings that are the problem that have become damaged with this modern fuel and ethanol
