Truth is I don't know, I haven't activated ECMSPY as yet so can't get to that data. £50 just to look at the ECU really Galls me to be honest.
Maybe I'm just not understanding how it works correctly or what that £50 will give me access to.
Tune ECU cost nothing for my Triumph & you could just drop another map on at your leisure for free & maps were readily available from their site & other club members.
EMCSPY feels to me, a bit like a secret society or something.
I'm not great with electronics at the best of times & really don't want to get my fiddling little fingers mixed up in the ECU till I understand how it works. Unfortunately I know that means having a go, but £50 just for the privilege? That stills galls me.
Despite the amount of times I have read the instructions & Pash's tuning guide, it just seems really over complicated to me. Maybe it's the way Buell ECU's are designed. Triumphs were really easy for people like me who aren't electronics experts.
I suppose at some point I will overcome my fear & take the plunge, but at this point in time I'm basing that the engine is running ok from my experience of riding a vast range of bikes.
This feels like it's running ok to me.
I know also that doesn't mean it isn't in need of tweaking!
All the best Paul

Hold down toggle and mode buttons on the dash, then switch the ignition on to enter live data, scroll through to AFV front and rear.

......BTW, I'll only charge you £25 for that info

You can read AFV (on ECMSpy) without activating ECMSpy.

Hi Maz,
I agree with the dash thing, I'm reading the manual again at the moment as I'd forgotten how handy the dash could be as it is directly linked to the ECU.
I had an Aprillia Mille at one point & I managed to get my hands on a Dash Cheat sheet, it was just a 1-20 list. Very, very handy & dead straight forward as it just cut through all the shit instructions & told you what did what & how to do most things very quickly.
Does anyone know if there such a thing for the Buell 1125r Dash? I have a distinct fear of activating theft mode as I'm not sure if the code I have in the handbook is correct. As we all know there is only one way of testing this & I'm F****d if I'm gonna try it for fun.
Thanks for re-sparking my interest in the dash Maz. I'll let you know how I get on.
All the best Paul.

I fitted at Remus to my '08 1125 when I first got it (this was after doing the 'Tubbs mod' to my standard pipe), and it ran ok but the welding on it was shite. I sold it and fitted an APH pipe, the welding was a work of art on this 8-) The only other modification I've done is fit a race ECM with the engine braking taken out because it's only used on the Track now.

Hi Adam,
Yeah I looked at the APH full system £999 and the slip on at £395, both definitely look the business & either would have been my first choice of upgrade via my heart.
However the Remus came on Ebay at half the price of the APH slip on & as I'm never going to race mine, or do track days, this will do admirably.
All I do is blast around on A/B roads as quickly & as safely as I can, so logic rather than (having the best) or emotion or art, simply dictated the Remus as the best buy for me.
I did clean it all down & checked the welding & build quality, which although is definitely not as neat as the APH, looked hefty enough for what I'm ever going to need.
It also means I can afford to spend the other £199 that the APH slip on would have cost me on a decent pair of tyres to get the best out of what I have.
There's logical decision making on a budget for you.
In the meantime, I'm extremely pleased with the Remus as a road going upgrade & I'm really, really, enjoying the ride, which for me is the most important part of owning this now extremely capable & very beautiful Buell.
All hail Erik Buell.
All the best Paul.

Hi Maz,
Think these are what you asked for Front 100, rear 105
Does that sound right?
All the best Paul.
