I got my leads for setting the ECU and wondered where I could find some stock maps to try. I will also check the TPS.

The bike has the breather mod, and an NAP Sport exhaust fitted. I'd like to get it to run more efficiently, outright speed isn't essential, and to reduce or cure crackling on overrun if possible.

Cheers!

Do you know what firmware it is? BUEGB231? BUECB060?

TPS reset process can be found in the How To section.

Is there anything specific you want to address with a ‘map’?

Well right now it won't pass noise testing for track because of the crackling on overrun. Firmware I dont know. I guess I have to connect to see this. Which is best, can I change it?

I'm hoping to improve midrange a little, and eliminate that crackling. I have found the 'race' ECU setting.

We can get rid of the crackling.

The firmware is displayed in ECMSpy, on the EEPROM tab. No you can’t change it.

You may want to do this, if not done already...

I think I covered popping and banging on the over run in the tuning guide...

I’ll shut up now and let others chip in...

I'm plugged in, did fetch eeprom and it didn't tell me firmware version. Do I need to run the bike?

Oh it says invalid com number

Wow I just saw the section of reducing popping. That's way too tech for me to handle.

I did the cable 8 deactivation and pulled the cable.

Email me your EEPROM if you want me to do it for you, plus a screenshot of the gauge page when connected.

Right, this is what I got. TPS looks OK. Mine is an '04 plate so is it single or double Lambda?

I bloody hate IMGUR. I can't get it to expand. I'll use a different host.

No TPS reset, it's at 5.5.

EDIT:
Try this. IMGUR is crap, unless you download their app it seems you cant get the images to expand.

You really need to do a TPS reset, the numbers don’t tell you anything about the datum (which needs to be correct for smooth running), just the distance from the datum (which needs to be correct for correct tickover speed).
