No worries all up and running now...... I put 10r12a's in and they are better.

On another forum, they were saying the 'x' should only be used on bikes with DDFI-3, 08 onwards -

The difference is the size of the insulator on the 'x' to the 'a'. The 'x' has more 'girth' , and while I have to admit that is good thing down there, not more my sparkies.

I have three useless 'x' s and a spare 'a' now and have learnt my lesson...... thanks to all.....
