PostPosted: 22 Dec 2017 01:39
Hi, My drive belt tension wheel bearings have given up the ghost. Its an 06 Ulysses. Is there anywhere that does the bearings please ? Or would it be cheaper to replace the part?

Cheers.

Hi,
I have recently done this on my 08 Ulysses and followed the information posted by barney, the bearings I got from Simply Bearings [on line] I have also used BSL the main point is to use the ones indicated ie SKF

Hi Boys thanks for your help.
Churchill, you don't have the invoice number that Simply Bearings sent you do you, or the number on the Bearings ? I've rung em and they don't have a Spec' for this .

Cheers Des.

" Later 9s, 12s and 1125s have two bearings in the pulleywheel, two single row 6203-2RSs each 17 x 40 x 12mm wide.

It is best to check which bearing you need by reading the number off the seal/race prior to disassembly.

Whatever you buy, you want the double sealed variety, i.e. 2RS (SKF) or RSR (FAG) "
