This happens when you don't know what you're doing while removing and putting back the cam cover on a buell/sportster engine without undoing the rocker assembly.

Got this engine from the states as a running before disassembly engine.
For some reason they had removed the cam cover and try to put it back on
After damaging a lot of the bushings etc they closed it up without cam number 3.

So how much damage is to much for cleaning up the bushings and run it as is?
Have to find a x1/s3 cam ,or get a complete set!?

All I have to say is that this made me sad!
Bunch of wankers

I'd imagine you'll need to split the cases to get all the cam bushes line reamed.

Surely line reaming is going to take metal off, so only any use if you are fitting new bushes.

Is the seller going to send you the missing camshaft?

Engine has only 7200 miles on it ,didn't want to disassemble the complete engine
But they fucked it up pretty good!

Have to contact the seller about the missing camshaft ,bought the engine almost a year ago.
It finally arrived last May ,because of work and happy things in life i just got time for checking things now.

Definitely going to contact the seller ,but don't have much hope they still have the camshaft.

There's a man here in Dukinfield that can sort that out. Box it up and send it to Maz. Get it back like a new engine :yup:
