Taxed this morning and took it for a ride with similar symptoms. I least I knew to waggle / push home the coil connectors, which appears to last about 20 miles.

New connectors ordered from the US on eBay......should have done that last year!

I've had that picture of the 2 x S1 white lightnings - parked outside the Emporium as my wallpaper on my laptop, i've not always closed the lid down as gently as i should, and fear this has resulted in the coil connections coming loose.

I promise to close the laptop lid very carefully from now on, but it wouldn't hurt to replace those connectors just to be sure.........Now where have i put me Babycham

I know where you're at. I've just got back from Palma, I've got to be in Cornwall on Friday, then Vietnam , France, then Odessa in Ukraine. I look on here to see some sense in everything only to find people talking about Huskies ! On a Buell forum, it'll be crufts next
