Hi guys, looking for a prompt in the right direction please.
"Bella" is playing up and losing spark after about 15 to 20 minutes riding. Phut phuts and cuts out. Leave for a minute and she restarts easily, for about another minute and then does the same. I plugged in a spare spark plug last time and it showed no spark, so i know it is electrical.
It can be on a clear run, and the engine temp seems normal. I am struggling to get ECM Spy working, so thought i would just ask. My gut feeling is the stator or cam sensor. The coil, leads and plugs were all changed recently, and I swapped the ECM with no effect, and as it restarts so quickly trying to check with a multi meter is not exactly easy.
So am I on the right path or missing something obvious.

My guess is CPS OR bad connection between that and the ecm, somewhere hiding on here is the story of the same issue with Muffin , eventually cured by making a temporary lead from the CPS direct to the ecu, it has never cut out since and STILL has that temp lead lOl

:D :D And I did have a fantastic 100 mile circuit to use every evening for testing each time I changed a component :-) between 60 and 70 miles from cold was normally my trigger point lOl
